## Symptoms

- While initiating the snortConvertor command, a failure is presented as shown below with core dump generation:

## Cause

SNORT content is empty and is listed as a known limitaiton for SNORT convertion in the Check Point IPS R77 Versions Administration Guide under "Unsupported SNORT Syntax" section - "Snort Rule without content keyword".
