## Solution

If you have an initial client installed that has not received any policy, then you will not be able to follow the usual steps to collect a *cpinfo*.

However, you can still collect a *cpinfo* by running the *cpinfo.exe* manually.

**To collect the logs manually:**

1. Open a command prompt as admin.
2. *cd* to this path: *C:\\Program Files (x86)\\CheckPoint\\Endpoint Security\\Endpoint Common\\cpinfo*
**Note:** For Windows 7, the correct file path is: *C:\\Program Files (x86)\\CheckPoint\\Endpoint Security Agent\\Endpoint Common\\cpinfo*
3. Run the *cpinfo.exe*
4. A command prompt box will come up - press "c", "1", "3","Enter".
5. Once it is finished, a Windows Explorer window will popup with a "*cpinfo.username.date.cab*".
6. Send this file to [Check Point Support](http://www.checkpoint.com/services/contact/index.html).
**Note:** It may generate multiple cpinfo files. Send them all.
