# sk119533 - Internal (Leads out to the local network) option is grayed out in the Standalone Interface Properties window

## Symptoms

- * The Internal (Leads out to the local network) option is grayed out in the Standalone Interface Properties window.
* All Interfaces on the Check Point Standalone object are defined as External.

## Cause

The Standalone Server was created as a Check Point Host object.

## Solution

**To resolve this issue:**

1. Right-click on the object that represents the Standalone Server.

2. Select the *More* option and click the option '*Convert to gateway* '.

3. Install database to save the changes.

**Note:** This procedure does not cause any downtime or traffic loss and can be done during production.
