## Symptoms

- Connection to an HTTPS web site can get stuck in the following scenario:

1. HTTPS Inspection is enabled on Security Gateway
2. "Website categorization mode" is set to "Hold"
(in R77X SmartDashboard, go to the "Application \& URL Filtering" tab - expand the "Advanced" - click on the "Engine Settings")
3. The HTTPS web site's category is not in RAD daemon's cache yet
(i.e., categorization of this HTTPS web site will require a "Hold")

## Cause

When HTTP parser returns from "Hold", required by the HTTPS Inspection Rulebase, HTTP steam contains 'Client Hello' packet together with clear HTTP 'GET' request. As a result, HTTP parser fails to parse the HTTP 'GET' request, and HTTPS connection gets stuck.
