# sk119053 - "vpn export_p12 command" is not working on R80.10 Security Management server

## Symptoms

- When the user runs the *vpn export_p12* command, the following error message is displayed:   
`Error: Unknown command "export_p12"`

## Cause

To run the command, an additional file is required on the Security Management server. In addition, the command to export the p12 certificate from the Security Management server was changed from *vpn export_p12* to *export_p12*.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

Check Point recommends to always upgrade to [the most recent version](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doShowproductpage&productTab=overview&product=191).  

If you do not wish to upgrade to the most recent version, do the following:

1. Download the *export_p12* file from [here](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?action=portlets.DCFileAction&eventSubmit_doGetdcdetails=&fileid=56731 ).  

2. Extract the file to the Security Management server under the following folder:  
   */opt/CPsuite-R80/fw1/bin*
3. Give the file the relevant permissions:  
   *chmod 770 export_p12*
4. Run the command *export_p12 -obj -cert -file -passwd* to create the p12 certificate.
