## Symptoms

- * Remote Access client connected to SMB appliance cannot reach internal network via Remote Access when Secure Configuration Verification (SCV) enabled.
* Users are able to connect to the site, but cannot reach internal network.
* Routes have been downloaded to the host machine (route print).
* If run *fw ctl zdebug drop \| grep* + Office Mode IP, can see the error message:
"Error message: "dropped by fw_runfilter_ex Reason: kfunc not supported;"
* SCV for Remote Access is globally enabled ('Policy \> Global Properties \> Remote Access \> Secure Configuration Verification page\> Apply Secure Configuration Verification). As such, it will affect all targeted policy gateways once the policy has been installed on them.

## Cause

SCV requires Policy Server blade enabled ( refer to "Configuring a Policy Server" section in [E80.70 Remote Access Clients for Windows Administration Guide](http://downloads.checkpoint.com/dc/download.htm?ID=55387))

Policy Server is not supported on SMB devices. (Refer to [sk105380](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk105380) for SMB appliances known limitations.)

Using SCV with clients connecting to SMB device is not possible.
