# sk118794 - "Number of Virtual Systems has reached license limit" error when failed to create new Virtual System on 5200/5400 appliance

## Symptoms

- * Failed to create a new Virtual System with the following error:   
  "Number of Virtual Systems has reached license limit"
* General license contains the ability to add VS0 + VS1.   
  The Virtual System that fails to be created is the first one.
* Output of *vsx stat -v* shows the following :   
  Number of Virtual Systems allowed by license: 0

## Cause

The license for VS0 and additional Virtual Systems is valid for gateways with 4 cores.

The 5200/5400 appliances have only 2 cores.

The limitation is removed via the hotfix.
