# sk118172 - Removing Cached IPs in SmartDashboard's Login Screen

## Solution

Need to clear the list of previously connected SmartCenter servers from the SmartDashboard login page.

The SmartDashboard host will automatically add registry entries to save the addresses of SmartCenter servers that have been connected to. If necessary, the cache of these IPs can be removed.

**Registry entries on the Windows host need to be removed to clear the cache of IPs:**

**Note: Check Point recommends that you backup your registry before implementing the below procedure.**

1. Open *regedit.exe*
2. Locate: *HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\CheckPoint\\Management Clients\\6.4.3\\R77.30\\Connection\\Last Login\\*   

   **Note:** Yhe 6.x.x version number will apply for other versions of SmartDashboard.
3. Delete the following regirsty entries: *AuthenticationString Server Name, MRCServerName1, (MRCServerName2, if any)*
4. Exit the registry editor and restart SmartDashboard.
