## Symptoms

- * Endpoint Security clients cannot connect to Endpoint Security server. (PostgreSQL is not running)
* When running *ps aux \| grep postgres* on Endpoint Security server from Expert mode, only one "postgres" process runs.
* When running: *$CPDIR/database/postgresql/util/PostgreSQLCmd status*   
  The output of PostgreSQL status is: PostgreSQL is down
* When running:  
  *su cp_postgres -c "$CPDIR/database/postgresql/bin/pg_ctl start -D $RTDIR/events_db/data"*   
  The output is: "Could not create shared memory segment: invalid argument..."
