# sk117896 - "Check Point CoreXL" option is not available in the "cpconfig" menu on vSEC for Azure Gateway although an Evaluation License is attached

## Symptoms

- "`Check Point CoreXL`" option is not available in the "`cpconfig`" menu on vSEC for Azure Gateway although an Evaluation License is attached

## Cause

There is another license attached for 1 CPU core, which has priority over the Evaluation License.

## Solution

Detaching the current license for 1 CPU core should allow the Evaluation License to work, which should enabled the CoreXL options in the "`cpconfig`" menu.

You may want to attach an Evaluation License for all software blades as well to not lose function.

Contact your sales representative to talk about the license upgrade for the correct number of CPU cores.

If you are just testing CoreXL, then you should be able to use the same steps.
