## Symptoms

- * Wrong static route subnet is propagated by Check Point ClusterXL to OSPF neighbors.
* Issue might be triggered upon a policy installation, which causes the routed process to be reloaded.
* Outage is experienced for traffic conducted from OSPF neighbor toward the Check Point Security Gateway, while the vice versa - traffic toward the OSPF neighbor is conducted as expected.
* Checking the routes, the static route that is configured for Default gateway as 0.0.0.0/0, was propagated over OSPF to the neighbors as 0.0.0.0/32 (in addition to the correct route of 0.0.0.0/0), which result in the OSPF neighbors to use this specific route (/32) in precedence of the original route of 0.0.0.0/0.
* In /config/active it can be confirmed that the OSPF Router ID was NOT manually set in both member and thus the value chosen by Routed process in a predefined automatic manner.
* constant LSA-Updates and acknowledges are being sent even-though there are no changes within the AS.

## Cause

Router ID was configured with a different value for each Cluster member, causing this abnormal behavior.
