# sk117236 - "cphaprob -l list" command shows that Device "routed_watchdog" reports its state as "problem" on Gaia Embedded cluster member

## Symptoms

- * Output of the "`cphaprob state`" command shows that the cluster member running Gaia Embedded OS is "Down".

  *Example* :

  ```
  
  HostName> cphaprob state
  
  Cluster Mode:   High Availability (Revert to Primary cluster member when possible) with IGMP Membership
  
  Number     Unique Address  Assigned Load   State
  
  1 (local)  192.168.110.1   0%              Down
  2          192.168.110.2   100%            Active
  ```

* Output of the "`cphaprob -l list`" command shows that the Critical Device "`routed_watchdog`" reports its state as "problem".

  *Example* :

  ```
  
  HostName> cphaprob -l list
  
  ... ...
  Device Name: routed_watchdog
  Registration number: 4
  Timeout: 30 sec
  Current state: problem
  Time since last report: 1095.1 sec
  ... ...
  ```

* Dynamic Routing is not configured on this cluster.

## Cause

In some scenarios, e.g., when certain Gaia Clish commands are called (e.g., '`show route`'), even though the Dynamic Routing is disabled / not configured, the Critical Device "`routed_watchdog`" may be wrongly and unnecessarily registered on the cluster member.

Since the Dynamic Routing is disabled / not configured, the Critical Device "`routed_watchdog`", by design, will report its state as "problem".
