# sk116915 - Under 'SmartDashboard > Gateway Properties > Software Blades', some blades cannot be seen as text size too large and view is cutoff

## Symptoms

- Under 'SmartDashboard \> Gateway Properties \> Software Blades', some blades cannot be seen as the text is too large and the view gets cutoff.

## Cause

**Issue with Windows 7 font sizing.**

In 'Control Panel \> Display', there are three options.

* Small (100%),
* Medium (125%),
* Larger (150%)

At one point, this option was set to Medium (125%) and changed back to Small (100%), but **the font files in the registry did not change**.

## Solution

1. Open the Widows Registry Editor. *Start \> Run \> regedit*
2. Using the Windows Registry Editor find: ***\[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\Fonts\]***
3. Find: "MS Sans Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24"="SSERIF*F* .FON" and change to: "MS Sans Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24"="**SSERIF*E*.FON**"
4. Find: "MS Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24"="SERIF*F* .FON" and change to: "MS Serif 8,10,12,14,18,24"="**SERIF*E*.FON**"
5. Find: "Courier 10,12,15"="COUR*F* .FON" and change to: "Courier 10,12,15"="**COUR*E*.FON**"
6. Exit the registry editor and reboot the Windows PC.
