# sk116912 - VSX gateway fails to boot with "FW-1 IPv6 Instance 0: [FAILED]" error after enabling IPv6

## Symptoms

- * After enabling IPv6 on the virtual systems, VSX gateway boots into single user mode with "`FW-1 IPv6 Instance 0: [FAILED]`" message on the console.   

* The `/var/log/messages` file shows:

  ```
  
  failed to execute 'insmod -f /etc/fw.boot/modules/fw6mod.2.6.18.cp.i686.o fwmultik_rss_num=1 
  fwmultik_instance_num=1 fwmultik_this_instance_num=0 fwmultik_thread_affinity=3

  fwmultik_dispatch_special_load=0 fwmultik_reg_opaque=0 fw6multik_hook_opaque=0xfafdd6c0 
  fwlinux_os_type=1 fw_kversion=2 fw_kpatchlevel=6 fw_ksublevel=18 fw_kextraversion=92 
  fwha_enable_state_machine_by_vs=1 fw_crashkernel_memory=64 '
  ```

## Cause

vmalloc memory is exhausted, so there is not enough memory to load all the VSX modules and the IPv6 new modules.
