## Solution

* Snapshots for Virtual Edition in VMware are not supported for NSX deployments.
* For normal Gateway deployments snapshots are supported but Check Points recommends using the ordinary Gaia snapshot rather than the built in snapshot utility in VMware/OpenStack.
