# sk116500 - OSPF routes from the peer are added to OSPF database, but not to the kernel routing table when the peer is configured to use OSPF Point-to-Point network

## Symptoms

- * Output of the Gaia Clish "`show ospf neighbors`" command on Check Point Security Gateway shows that OSPF neighborship with the OSPF peer is established with "FULL" state.

* Output of the Gaia Clish "`show ospf database`" command on Check Point Security Gateway shows that OSPF routes from the peer are added to OSPF database.

* Output of the Gaia Clish "`show route`" command on Check Point Security Gateway shows that OSPF routes from the peer are not added to the kernel routing table.

* OSPF peer is configured to use OSPF Point-to-Point network (e.g., on Cisco with the "`device(config-if-X)# ip ospf network point-to-point`" command).

## Cause

Only R76SP.XX versions for 61000 / 41000 appliances are able to work with OSPF peer that is configured to use OSPF Point-to-Point network.  

**Note:**   

OSPF Point-to-Point on Ethernet configuration/functionality is available on all appliances in R81.10 and above versions.
