# sk116384 - "The interface with object's IP address does not appear in the interfaces list. Please use the topology tab to define an interface with this IP" error

## Symptoms

- * After deleting an interface from a Virtual System object and clicking 'OK' to push the configuration, the following error message pops up: "The interface with object's IP address does not appear in the interfaces list. Please use the topology tab to define an interface with this IP".
* When clicking 'Cancel' and opening the VS object again, it shows that the interface does appear in Topology interfaces list.

## Cause

The IP address of the interface to be removed is also the main IP address of the virtual system.
