# sk116233 - Security Gateways do not attempt to connect to the Log Server

## Symptoms

- * Once the Log server is down for a long period of time, the Security Gateways do not try to reconnect to it and logs are being saved locally.  

* Output of "`cpstat fw -f log_connection`" command shows the Log Server as '`Disconnected`'   

* "`log_add_e: waiting for connecting callback (log_connected) to be read`" message in FWD debug.
