## Symptoms

- * When trying to create a new snapshot, no error is displayed, but the snapshot is not created. For example:   

  ```
  
  Clish> add snapshot Test 
  
  Taking snapshot. You can continue working normally. 
  
  You can use the command 'show snapshots' to monitor creation progress. 
  
  ```

* No snapshots or progress bar are displayed after adding a new snapshot:   

  ```
  
  Clish> show snapshots 
  
  Creation of an additional restore point will need 5.984G 
  
  Amount of space available for restore points is 13.06G 
  
  ```

* Machine has sufficient amount of space for creating new snapshots.

## Cause

*/sbin/mkfs.ext3* file is missing. As a result, new snapshots cannot be created.
