## Symptoms

- * Rules (to block or allow) in URL filtering and Application Control are not working on some Android devices.
* Logs show that it is being blocked but the user is able to still get to the site.

## Cause

Google Web Light is in use on the Android device.

Google Web Light will automatically kick in when using Google Chrome on Android devices **with slow internet connections**.

Google Web Light will proxy the connection. In the logs it is presented as a Google site that most customers do not block.
