# sk115668 - "There is no data available for the specified time frame" error in SmartView Monitor history traffic report

## Symptoms

- * SmartView Monitor history traffic report shows "There is no data available for the specified time frame" error.
* Real time monitor data shows the relevant data.

## Cause

Monitoring traffic connection is not enabled in Gateway object Monitor blade.

## Solution

To resolve the problem,

1. In the SmartDashboard, open gateway properties.  

2. Go to the Monitoring Software blade section.  

3. Select the "Traffic connection" checkbox in SmartView Monitor history reports:

4. Save and install the Security policy.

For R81 and above to resolve the problem,  

1. In the SmartConsole, open gateway properties  

2. Go to the Monitoring Software blade section.  

3. Select 'Traffic Connections' and 'Traffic Throughput'  

4. Save and install the Security policy.
