# sk115635 - "Attack Information: Can't connect to the server" log is seen in IPS

## Symptoms

- * Connection between 2 hosts cannot be established and IPS produces the log "Attack Information: Can't connect to the server".
* Security Gateway is configured to run in Proxy mode.
* Traffic capture confirms that SYN packet is sent, however there is no SYN-ACK response seen.

## Cause

A connectivity issue between the Security Gateway and the server results in the SYN-ACK packet not arriving to the Security Gateway.
