# sk115600 - How to view and configure Implied Rules in SmartConsole R80 and higher

## Solution

### To view the Implied Rules in SmartConsole

1. From the left navigation panel, click **Security Policies**.

2. In the **Access Control** section, click **Policy**.

3. From the top toolbar, click **Actions** \> **Implied Rules**.

4. The **Implied Policy** window opens on the page **All** (expand it to see the filters **First rules** , **Before last rules** , and **Last rules**):

### To configure the Implied Rules in SmartConsole

1. From the left navigation panel, click **Security Policies**.

2. In the **Access Control** section, click **Policy**.

3. From the top toolbar, click **Actions** \> **Implied Rules**.

4. In the **Implied Policy** window, click the **Configuration** page.

5. Make the applicable changes.

6. Click **OK**.

7. Install the Access Control policy on each Security Gateway / Cluster / Virtual System object.
