# sk115536 - "Name uniqueness" warnings in Validations panel after migration to R80

## Symptoms

- * After migration from R77.X to R80 there are numerous "Name uniqueness" warnings on Validations panel of Domain Management Server about duplicate services of TCP and UDP types or of any other object types.
* The above is observed in all or in part of the Domains.

## Cause

In R77.x Multi-Domain Management Server it is possible to have user defined objects with identical names in the Global and Domain databases.

If in the Global database these objects would be part of the Global Policy itself, then during Global Policy Assignment these global objects would be renamed, i.e. "g_" prefix would be added to the name, and that's how it will appear in the Domain policy.

If global object is not part of the Global Policy, then the name would remain without the prefix and it will not be considered as a duplicate object.

Since R80 has a unified database, validation process will run against ALL the objects in the database (Global and all Domain databases) and it might result in "Name uniqueness" warnings in Validations panel.
