## Symptoms

- * "`Verifier is temporarily not available for this package`" is displayed in Gaia Portal:

  1. Navigate to "Upgrades (CPUSE)" section (in Gaia OS R77.20 and above) / to "Software Updates" section (in Gaia OS R77.10 and lower).

  2. Click on "Status and Actions" page.

  3. Right-click on an available / downloaded / imported CPUSE package.

  4. "`Verifier is temporarily not available for this package`" message is displayed in the menu instead of "`Verify`" option.

     *Examples*:
     * For a Hotfix package:

       [![](https://sc1.checkpoint.com/sc/SolutionsStatics/sk115515/Example_1.jpg)](https://sc1.checkpoint.com/sc/SolutionsStatics/sk115515/Example_1.jpg "Click the image to see it in full size in a new tab/window")
     * For a Minor Version package:

* At the same time, output of Gaia Clish command "`installer verify <Package_Number>`" for the same CPUSE package shows:

  * For a Hotfix package:

    `Result: Installation is allowed`
  * For a Minor Version package:

    `Result: Verifier results: Clean Install: Installation is allowed. Upgrade: Upgrade is allowed.`

## Cause

Currently, CPUSE Agent performs several actions that involve bundle installations / verifications in parallel. As a result, the "Verify" option might be temporarily unavailable in Gaia Portal.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

* [Check Point CPUSE Agent](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk92449#Latest build of CPUSE and What's New) - since ***Build 972*** (released on 08 Feb 2016)

Check Point recommends to always upgrade the CPUSE Agent to the [most recent build](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk92449#Latest build of CPUSE and What's New).

As an ***immediate alternative***, verify the CPUSE package in Gaia Clish:

1. Connect to command line on the target Gaia OS.

2. Log in to Clish.

3. Acquire the lock over Gaia configuration database:

   *HostName:0\> **lock database override***
4. Show the relevant packages:

   *HostName:0\> **show installer packages {available-for-download \| downloaded \| imported \| recommended}***
5. Verify the package - check whether this package can be installed without conflicts:

   *HostName:0\> **installer verify*** \[press Space key\]\[press Tab key\]
   *HostName:0\> **installer verify \<Package_Number\>***

   Result of this test should be:
   * For a Hotfix package:

     ` Result: Installation is allowed`
   * For a Minor / Major Version:

     ` Result: Verifier results: Clean Install: Installation is allowed. Upgrade: Upgrade is allowed. `
