# sk115233 - Authentication to Internal Web site configured with Hostname Translation Link Translation method fails

## Symptoms

- * Authentication to Internal Web site configured with Hostname Translation Link Translation method fails.  
  (The Internal Web Site requires authentication with user name and password, which is different from the MAB Portal's authentication, so cannot use SSO.)
* In *trac.log* debug output, see:  
  "\<� p� \>The server encountered an error processing the request. See server logs for more details.\<� /p� \>"

## Cause

The issue is caused by the fact JS is adding "Authorization" header to the request and gateway is removing the header.
