## Symptoms

- "`Unable to fetch Suspicious Activity Rules from the following modules:`" warning in SmartView Monitor that is connected to Domain Management Server when configuring Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) rules and selecting a VSX Gateway / Virtual System.

## Cause

The creation of Suspicious Activity Monitoring (SAM) rules is *not* supported on Global objects or VSX objects in SmartView Monitor that is connected to Domain Management Server.
