# sk114993 - Flapping of cluster members with Bond configured in Load Sharing mode when the neighboring switch is rebooted

## Symptoms

- Flapping of cluster members with Bond interface configured in Load Sharing mode when the neighboring switch is rebooted

## Cause

Chain of events in the case that was reported to Check Point:

1. Cluster members are connected to a switch
2. The switch is rebooted
3. The switc gs the physical link "UP" on its ports ***before*** it is ready to pass traffic
4. Since the link is "UP" on the switch's ports, the link is also goes "UP" on the slaves of the Bond interface on cluster members
5. The Bond interface on the cluster member goes in to "Active" state
6. If the option "Switch to higher priority Cluster Member" is configured in the cluster object, the cluster fails back to the higher priority member for a few seconds
7. This causes a short traffic outage
