# sk114899 - Identity Awareness will not update to new Certificate

## Symptoms

- * Old certificate is deleted from the Security Gateway object, new one is added, and upon closing the window, the old certificate is back.
* Applying the solution in [sk106500](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk106500) does not resolve the issue.

## Cause

Certificate must be deleted using the [GuiDBedit Tool](http://supportcontent.checkpoint.com/solutions?id=sk13009).
