# sk114696 - "Failed to load ldap account units" error on UDM portal connected to R80 Multi-Domain Management

## Symptoms

- `"Failed to load ldap account units"` error when connecting to the UDM Portal after upgrade to R80:

## Cause

During upgrade to R80 or R80 clean installation, the *udm_portal*table objects were deployed also to the Global Domain database. This duplication caused UDM Portal to fail getting the LDAP settings.

## Solution

[Contact Check Point Support](http://www.checkpoint.com/services/contact/index.html) to get a Hotfix for this issue.   
A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.   
For faster resolution and verification please collect [CPinfo](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?
eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk92739) files from the Security Management and Security Gateways involved in the case.

**Installation Instructions:**

1. Copy the [*udm_remove_global.sh* script](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?action=portlets.DCFileAction&eventSubmit_doGetdcdetails=&fileid=53214) to a temporary folder on the Multi-Domain Management machine.  

2. Change script permissions:   

   *# chmod 777 udm_remove_global.sh*
3. Run the script: *# ./udm_remove_global.sh* Note : Discard warnings during script run   

4. On the UDM machine, restart the udm service: *# udmstop; udmstart*
