# sk114584 - How to disable password saving for Endpoint Security VPN connections

## Symptoms

- * EndPoint VPN client can put any letters under the password filed and be successfully connected to the site or connects straight using only the EndPoint VPN icon with an option "connect".
* Users can use any username and password and still connect to a configure site.
* If certificate authentication is being used; any password can be used as a certificate password and the user will still be able to connect.
* From trac.log collected from the relevant EndPoint VPN client we can see:  
  \[ 2624 2708\]\[29 Jun 14:16:32\]\[TR_CONN_MANAGER\]   
  TR_CONN_MANAGER::TrConnManager::GetRegOrCPLogonCreds: Creds taken from cplogon   
  \[ 2624 2708\]\[29 Jun 14:16:32\]\[TR_CPLOGON\] GetAuthInfo: looking credentials for xxxxxxxxxxxx.   
  \[ 2624 2708\]\[29 Jun 14:16:32\]\[TR_CPLOGON\] GetAuthInfo: found credentials in CPLogon.
