# sk114530 - Changing the hostname in Clish has no effect if only the style of letters are changed (uppercase to/from lowercase)

## Symptoms

- * Changing the Gaia machine hostname to the same name where only the style of letters is changed (uppercase to/from lowercase) has no effect. Example:  
  `gw01> set hostname GW01`  
  `
  gw01>`
* Changing to another hostname works fine.

## Cause

The Clish interpreter does not differentiate between upper and lower case.
