# sk114197 - "Object already exists with this IP and netmask" warning when creating a new Network Object

## Symptoms

- * Creating a new Network Object results in a "Object already exists with this IP and netmask" warning message.
* Network Object search for IP network address shows "No results found".

## Cause

In the Topology tab of VSX object, the "*Calculate topology automatically based on routing information*" checkbox was selected. This created network objects and the objects are not viewable under "Network Objects". The new object has the same IP network address as one that was created automatically.
