# sk114039 - Authentication to Mobile Access Portal fails with "RADIUS not supported" message in SmartView Tracker

## Symptoms

- * Authentication to the Mobile Access Portal fails with message "Access denied wrong username or password".
* SmartView Tracker provides Mobile Access Login message "RADIUS not supported" failed authentication log.

## Cause

**Environment:** Mobile Access authentication scheme is set as "Defined on user record (Legacy Authentication)"

RADIUS method is not enabled under the Legacy Authentication tab on the Mobile Access gateway.

## Solution

Enable the RADIUS authentication scheme, as part of the Legacy Authentication:

1. Open the Mobile Access Gateway object on SmartDashboard.
2. Under "Other" tab, navigate to "Legacy Authentication".
3. Under "Enabled Authentication Schemes" select RADIUS.
4. Click "OK" and install the policy on the Mobile Access gateway.
