## Symptoms

- GuiDBEdit tool fails to save changes after editing a service. The operation results with the message:
`"Failure in updating object .. Could not access file for write operation.
An internal error has occurred."`

## Cause

Default "out of the box" services are defined as read only. This is because with R80.10 the system validates the integrity of its out-of-the-box objects.
