# sk113514 - PIM multicast traffic does not pass between PIM router and IGMP subscribers when only the interface facing the PIM router is configured

## Symptoms

- * PIM multicast traffic does not pass between PIM router and IGMP subscribers through the Security Gateway.
* Only the interface connected to the PIM router has PIM configuration enabled.

## Cause

In Gaia all interfaces between PIM routers and subscribers require PIM to be enabled.  

Previous CheckPoint Operating Systems like SecurePlatform may function differently.
