# sk113504 - BGP starts advertising all the routes with "as_prepend", even to AS where prepend is not configured

## Symptoms

- * After some uptime, BGP on Check Point Security Gateway starts advertising all the routes with "as_prepend", even to AS where prepend is not configured.

  *Example*:
  * Topology consists of 3 major AS:  
    \[Internal AS "X"\] --- \[Check Point AS "Y"\] --- \[External AS "Z"\]
  * The desire is that only specific routes learned from AS "X" will be prepended by AS "Y" (using "routemap") towards AS "Z".
  * Traffic capture and BGP Traces show that AS "Y" sends a BGP update towards AS "Z" with AS prepend set, which affects all routes inside the BGP update.
* Manual restart of RouteD daemon (using the `tellpm` command) resolves the issue only for some time.
