# sk113461 - In 'Cluster member properties > VPN > Office Mode for Remote Access', "Offer Manual Office Mode" (using IP pool) taking precedence over ipassignment.conf

## Symptoms

- * In 'Cluster member properties \> VPN \> Office Mode for Remote Access', "Offer Manual Office Mode" (using IP pool) is taking precedence over *ipassignment.conf*.
* vpnd debug shows: "Badly formed gateway IP in line 0060."
* \[ 25208\]\[25 Aug 23:51:09\]\[\] GWSupportsMarcipan: Got that this gateway does support IP Assignment  
  \[ 25208\]\[25 Aug 23:51:09\]\[\] obtain_IP_address_for_user_IPpool: Obtaining IPpool lease for user 'makk'  
  \[ 25208\]\[25 Aug 23:51:09\]\[\] obtain_IP_address_for_user_IPpool: IP already assigned to this user. Renewing It is skipping IPassignment list and goes straight to IPpool for OM

## Cause

***ipassignment.conf* has the name of the Cluster instead of the individual Gateway.**

If the Gateways are set up as a cluster, the *ipassignment.conf* must have the hostname of the gateway and not the cluster_name.
