# sk113123 - Traffic is no longer seen after "fw VM inbound (fw)", when changing Identity Sharing method from or to Smart-Pull or Push

## Symptoms

- * After changing the Identity Sharing method from Smart-Pull to Push or opposite, traffic stops passing the gateway and is stuck on pre-inbound \[small i\] chain.
* No drops are logged in SmartView Tracker nor seen in kernel drop debug (`fw ctl zdebug + drop`) output.
* Failing over the PEP gateway causes loss of identities learned from PDP and never learns new ones.

## Cause

Mismatch between PDPD and PEPD kernel tables after switching Identity Sharing method.
