# sk113086 - Mismatch of user expiration time as defined on AD Server and the way it is interpreted by Mobile Access blade

## Symptoms

- There is a difference (up to 23:59 hours) in the users' expiration time (as defined on the Microsoft Active Directory Server) and the way it is being interpreted by Mobile Access blade.

## Cause

**How LDAP users' expiration date is determined by Mobile Access blade**

The expiration time of LDAP users using Mobile Access blade matches the parameter in 'Microsoft Active Directory GUI \> Users and Computers \> User Properties \> Account tab'.

For example:

As opposed to the LDAP expiry timestamp, as seen in the 'Attribute Editor tab \> "accountExpires"':

In this example, the LDAP expiry timestamp ("131054832000000000") itself should be translated as 23:00 on GMT +3 (or 20:00 GMT) (it can be verified using websites such as: [LDAP, Active Directory \& Filetime Timestamp Converter](http://www.epochconverter.com/ldap))
