## Symptoms

- "`Regardless of state synchronization, Cluster `*Name_of_Cluster_Object*` must have a trusted (secured) network defined for normal clustering operations`" error during policy installation.

## Cause

No cluster interfaces defined and/or Sync network has not been configured (at all, or correctly) in the cluster object.  
Sync network *must* be configured in ClusterXL in Load Sharing mode, and in 3rd party cluster.
