## Symptoms

- * *vsx_util reconfigure* command fails with "`Cannot find opening 'begin' command`".

* Debug of FWM daemon (per [sk31874](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk31874)) on Security Management Server / Main Domain Management Server during the issue shows the following:

  `
[FWM ...] <vsxm_push_vsx_config_handler.cpp:N> vsxm_push_vsx_config_handler::exec_command_CB_ VSX GateWay policy installation failed for Security Gateway `*NameOfVSXClusterMember*` (member of `*NameOfVSXCluster* `)...`

* Debug of FWM daemon (per [sk31874](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk31874)) on Security Management Server / Main Domain Management Server during the issue shows the following:

  * `Internal warning: Failed to get vs configuration from file /opt/CPsuite-R77/fw1/conf/vs_repository/<NameOfVSXCluster>/<Name_Of_VSNEW_file>.vsnew. Cannot create local NCS files.`

  * `Internal warning: Failed to get vs configuration from file /opt/CPsuite-R77/fw1/conf/vs_repository/<NameOfVSXCluster>/<Name_Of_VSWRP_file>.vswrp. Cannot create local NCS files.`

  * `Internal warning: Failed to get vs configuration from file /opt/CPsuite-R77/fw1/conf/vs_repository/<NameOfVSXCluster>/<Name_Of_VSRT_file>.vsrt. Cannot create local NCS files.`

## Cause

Interfaces were deleted incorrectly, which corrupted the *$FWDIR/conf/objects_5_0.C*, which in turn caused the VSX NCS files to be created in wrong syntax (double space between 'dev' and 'address').

Example from *local.vsall*:

*\[Name_of_VSX_Member:\] interface set **dev address** 0.0.0.0 netmask 0.0.0.0 mtu 1500 vr ## cluster_ip 0.0.0.0 cluster_mask 0.0.0.0*
