# sk111880 - Memory leak in CPD daemon can possibly fail policy push

## Symptoms

- * Output of "`ps auxw`" / "`top`" command shows that memory consumed by CPD is constantly increasing.  

  At some point (after \~1-2 weeks) consumed memory reaches \~2Gb, and CPD daemon crashes.

* Possible/optional - Issue started after configuring thresholds with "`threshold_config`" command.

  In this case removing all thresholds with "`threshold_config`" command resolves the issue (CPD memory consumption returns to normal).

  <br />

* policy push fails on the gateway, restart of cpd resolves the issue for a few days
* Policy push might fail for "Load on Module Failed: no memory"
