## Symptoms

- Although all sites defined with option "Enable Always-Connect" as "disabled", still receive connect popups on a regular basis.

In the gateways (MEP), *$FWDIR/conf/trac_client_1.ttm* configured, as follows:

* *Neo_always_connected* (false)
* *Neo_always_connected_retry* (false)

## Cause

A host PC has several users configured either with different user permissions (Admin and non-admin users), or with one user that does not have admin permissions and tries to execute process "as administrator".

Once a non-admin tries to execute a command "as administrator" ("Run as administrator"), the Endpoint Security client recognizes that there is an additional user in the system.

The VPN client will then run an additional process to check if the VPN communication is enabled for this user as well, and a popup screen will appear with a request to connect to the site.

(Process in the background: The watchdog process is trying to execute *TrGUI.exe* several times (sometimes without visual effects).)
