## Symptoms

- * SmartView Tracker and SmartLog show some log entries with "localhost" in Source/Destination field, also for known Internal Objects. ![](https://sc1.checkpoint.com/sc/SolutionsStatics/sk111622/sk1116221605230459.png)

* When disabling the name resolving in SmartView Tracker, the correct IP address is shown.   

* When running `nslookup <problematicIP address>`, the address is not resolved correctly.

## Cause

This is not a Check Point issue, but rather an internal system configuration issue with the internal DNS server.
