# sk111593 - Excessive disk utilization in $FWDIR/log/blob

## Symptoms

- Excessive disk utilization in `$FWDIR/log/blob`.

## Cause

The blob files are being created for every log received with a packet capture. They are related to packet capture and this is the expected behavior. There are several blades that send logs containing packet capture to the Security Management Server - Anti-Bot and Anti-Virus.

Threat Emulation Forensic reports which contains results regarding the emulation, these reports also create blob files in $FWDIR/log/blob/
