You can configure the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) for a network interface using Gaia Portal or Gaia Clish. ### Important Notes * The maximum supported Jumbo Frame size depends on the interface type and driver. * Review the **Known Limitations** section on your appliance model's Home Page. * For additional details, read [sk179432 - Software Releases for Quantum LightSpeed Appliances QLS / MLS and Quantum Force Appliances 9000, 19000, 29000](https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk179432). * If you configure the MTU for Jumbo Frames on more than two interfaces in a single uptime session (before rebooting), you must reboot the Security Gateway after saving the configuration. * In a cluster, configure all cluster members identically.
