# sk111333 - Server with more than 64 GB of RAM is not able to boot

## Symptoms

- * Server with more than 64 GB of RAM is not able to boot when selecting "`Start in 64bit normal mode`" in the Boot Menu - server goes into kernel panic and restarts, or freezes during the boot process.

* The server is able to boot as expected when selecting either "`Start in maintenance mode 64bit`" or "`Start in 64bit no-debug mode`" in the Boot Menu.

* If only 64GB of RAM is installed, then the server is able to boot as expected.
