## Symptoms

- Hosts that are directly connected to Locally managed SMB appliances do not appear in Active Devices page.

## Cause

For hosts to appear on active computers it is necessary to initiate connections to the outside (Internet) or to be accessed from the outside via NAT rules or server access rules.

## Solution

This is the expected behavior. No fix is required; the system is functioning as designed.
