# sk110886 - Policy installation fails with "Connection Profile 'SecureMobile' has a Gateway 'gateway_name' that is not a VPN installed machine"error

## Symptoms

- Policy installation fails with errors:  
"Connection Profile 'SecureMobile' has a Gateway 'gateway_name' that is not a VPN installed machine."  
"Policy verification failed."  
"Operation ended with errors."

## Cause

This issue is caused by a gateway that was previously part of a Remote Access or VPN community, but no longer is. However, the Security Management server still assumes it is, since a connection profile still exists for it. Even while the IPSEC VPN blade is disabled, this error still occurs.
